update 3-18

so, i graduated.
i'm at home, working for a semester. besides working, i have been making a book of monsters. i'm working in mainly watercolors, gouache and ink these days. i think my style's taken the next evolutionary step since last semester. i've incorporated the stylistic changes i wanted to make and have worked with them, sketched them out, make mistakes and i'm at a point that i really like.

i'll be headed to the illustration academy in florida this summer. it's going to be really exciting to work with and taught by some of my favorite artists. sterling hundly and jon foster are both going to be there.

after that it's grad school... too bad i haven't heard from any of the schools that i applied to yet...
