It's finally finished, a portrait of the devilish musician Nicolo Paganini. I used watercolor first, then acrylics, an oil wash and some more watercolors and ink.

haha...awesome. i like the richness of color the arcylics added to the piece.
i didn't do too much with the acrylics, i just added them as lines in the background and foreground. i think a lot of that richness comes from the oil layer and ink that i added in the end. the ink is how i got it so nice and dark.
